Kajal Agarwal's debut film was Lakshmi Kalayam (2007) by director Teja. Kajal came in to the limelight after her splendid performance at Chanda Mama (2007) opposite Navadeep. In 2008 some of her Tamil films were dubbed like Pazhani Pourudu and write Telugu.

In Magadheera (2009) Played the lead role she alongwith Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja. This movie was a great success and was released in 14 Countries. It was screened in the U.S. for more than 100 days.

Her upcoming release is Sukumar's Arya 2 where she is playing along side the lead actress and actor Allu Arjun Das Shraddha.

In 2010, Naan Mahan Alla, Om Shanti, Darling, Chandi, Brindavanam, and Orange are her releases. In the Tamil film Naan Mahan Alla romantic, willing to play a character named Kajal opposite Priya Karthi. In Bhaskar's Orange co-stars are re Ram Charan Teja and Genelia D'Souza.
